Hours: Mon-Thu 08:30-16:45 | Fri 08:30 - 15:30
About the Role
Don-Bur Group are looking for a motivated 1st Line IT Support Engineer to join our internal IT team.
This is a hands-on role providing front-line IT support to staff across multiple sites, resolving technical issues, supporting business systems, and helping to keep IT services running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1st line IT support via phone, email and service desk
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues
- Install and configure PCs, laptops and IT equipment
- Support Microsoft 365, Windows and Active Directory environments
- Troubleshoot network, Wi-Fi and printing issues
- Log, manage and update support tickets
- Work alongside the development team to test and support in-house software solutions
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a 1st Line IT Support role
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Experience with Windows 11 and Microsoft 365
- Basic networking knowledge (DNS, DHCP, IP addressing)
- Active Directory user and device management
- Ability to troubleshoot issues with PCs, laptops and peripherals
- A proactive, organised and professional approach
