The Truck-Lite M901 is a compact dual voltage LED rear combination lamp designed for commercial vehicle trailer, truck and rigid bodywork applications. The lamp integrates stop, tail, direction indicator, reverse, fog and reflex functions within a single LED assembly intended for modern commercial vehicle bodywork.
The compact housing design makes the M901 particularly suited to trailers fitted with tail-lifts that reduce the available rear mounting space for lighting equipment. It is also suitable for other vehicle body applications where rear lamp packaging space is limited.

Compact Rear Lamp Design
The M901 has been developed as a compact rear combination lamp assembly for commercial vehicle applications where available rear lighting space may be restricted. This is particularly relevant on trailers fitted with tail-lifts, where the lift structure and associated equipment can significantly reduce the available mounting area for rear lamps.
By integrating multiple lighting functions into a single compact housing, the lamp can help simplify rear body layouts whilst maintaining the required rear lighting functions within a reduced installation area.
Rear Combination Lamp Functions
The M901 integrates stop, tail, direction indicator, reverse and rear fog lamp functions together with an integrated rear reflex reflector. Combining these functions within one housing reduces the number of separate rear lamp assemblies required on the vehicle.
The optical layout incorporates a progressive LED direction indicator alongside dedicated stop, reverse and fog lamp sections.
Progressive Direction Indicator
The direction indicator uses a progressive LED illumination pattern to provide a sequential signalling effect during operation. LED lighting also provides rapid illumination characteristics compared to conventional filament lamp systems.
The lamp incorporates ISO Pulse direction indicator LED failure detection, allowing compatible vehicle electrical systems to monitor LED indicator operation without relying on traditional filament bulb load behaviour.
Electrical Connections and Take-Offs
The M901 uses a centre DIN connector together with 4 flush 2-way Superseal connectors positioned within the rear housing profile. The flush take-off arrangement reduces rear connector protrusion behind the lamp mounting panel, which can assist installation where clearance behind the lamp assembly is limited.
The available take-offs include one flashing side marker take-off, two tail lamp take-offs and one reverse lamp take-off for integration with associated vehicle lighting circuits.
Dimensions and Mounting
The lamp dimensions are 340mm x 146mm x 58mm with M8 mounting fixings. The relatively compact overall depth and integrated connector arrangement can assist installation on commercial vehicle bodywork where rear structural or ancillary equipment restricts available mounting space.
Construction and Durability
The housing and lens are manufactured from polycarbonate material to provide durability and impact resistance suitable for commercial vehicle environments.
The lamp carries an IP69K ingress protection rating, supporting use in demanding road transport applications where rear lighting assemblies may be exposed to road spray, dirt and high-pressure washdown cleaning.
