Don-Bur Awarded Bronze in CSR Audit
In another industry first, Don-Bur has been awarded a bronze standard after weeks of independent assessment on their corporate and social responsibility (CSR).
Ecovadis is a recognised, indpendent CSR auditor and was nominated by one of Don-Bur's customers. Submission was optional but Don-Bur felt strongly about their performance in this area and opted to commit to a lengthy assessment. The comprehensive evaluation covers the four key CSR subjects including environment, labour & human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement.
CSR has become an important part of partnership assessments to ensure synergies with various supply chains. An independent assessment, such as the ones carried out by Ecovadis, provides complete re-assurance to customers without the complexities of cumbersome, and often difficult to assess, RFIs.
The bronze standard sets a high starting point for Don-Bur and they will be using the assessment to focus on key areas of improvement for 2021, in advance of their next audit.
The detailed results will be shared openly with customers on request.
