Frequently asked questions

What is a sensing split charge unit used for?

A sensing split charge unit manages the charging of an auxiliary battery by monitoring system voltage and connecting or isolating the circuit as required.

Why is a split charge unit used on lifting deck trailers?

Lifting deck trailers often rely on auxiliary batteries to power deck operation. A split charge unit allows these batteries to be charged from the towing vehicle without risking depletion of the main vehicle battery.

Is this unit suitable for all lifting deck electrical systems?

Suitability depends on the electrical configuration and current requirements of the lifting deck system. Compatibility should be confirmed before installation.
