Richard has been with Don-Bur since 2003 and currently leads marketing activity across the group. With a rare blend of technical knowledge and creative skill, he plays a key role in shaping the company’s external voice, product positioning, and customer communications.

His responsibilities include managing intellectual property rights, ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) reporting, and strategic key account relationships. He also monitors and interprets regulatory developments, using that knowledge to create practical, customer-focused content that improves understanding and supports informed decision-making.

Richard is a hands-on marketing specialist and produces a wide variety of high-quality materials in-house. His expertise spans:

  • Website design and management

  • Photography and photo editing

  • Social media strategy and execution

  • Content marketing and copywriting

  • White papers and technical documentation

  • Presentations and sales aids

  • 3D product visualisations and technical illustrations

  • Video production and editing

As an experienced speaker, Richard regularly presents at industry events to demystify complex topics, regulatory changes, and product technologies. He also provides operator training on equipment use and safety, ensuring customers get the most from their investment.

Richard studied at Manchester Polytechnic and continues to apply a practical, real-world approach to every aspect of his work — blending technical accuracy with engaging, accessible communication.
