The fall arrest system provides an additional layer of safety for operators working at height.
A strap is attached to the roof structure and connected to a roller mechanism that can move front-to-back, allowing the operator to move freely within the working area where possible.
Using a principle similar to a seat-belt locking mechanism, the strap permits limited vertical movement during normal operation but locks in the event of sudden movement, such as a fall.
The system is designed to work in conjunction with an operator safety harness.
