About Ken:
Ken Ford joined Don-Bur in 2010 as part of the Accident & Repair Bodyshop sector. His dedication and passion for the field led him to train at the Thatcham repair centre, transitioning from the repair side to the estimating side of the business.
Throughout his career, Ken has held various roles, including serving with a Worldwide Rental company, managing repairs and fleet management for rental assets. He also worked for a Vehicle Refurb Company, where he managed a department team of vehicle estimators and worked closely with body-shops to ensure they stayed ahead in technology, facilitating smoother workflow.
Ken's journey led him to his current role as the General Manager at Don-Bur. Over the years, he has witnessed the company's remarkable growth and success. His responsibilities encompass the day-to-day operations of the Boothen Road site, overseeing the Mobile service division, and managing the Don-Bur Vehicle Centre.
At the Don-Bur Vehicle Centre, Ken and his team have achieved approvals as RAC repairers and authorised repairers for major fleet organisations. His role involves liaising with customers to arrange repairs, services, and MOTs. Since integrating the vehicle centre, they now offer a comprehensive repair and MOT service for light vehicles, collaborating closely with insurance companies to streamline the repair process.
