What level of wear/damage is OK for an EN 12642-XL curtain?

The load bearing capabilities of EN 12642-XL curtains become compromised when:

• A tear or cut is apparent on the curtain PVC material of 75mm or longer. This can be repaired by patching from the inside with the same quality of material.
• A tear or cut is apparent on either the vertical or horizontal webbing strap of 10mm or longer. In these cases, the curtain would have to be removed and the defective strap taken off and replaced and re-bonded to the curtain.
