Don-Bur, specialists in the custom manufacture of trailers and rigid bodywork, is excited to announce a significant investment of £100,000 in a new spray booth at their Clarence Road site. This facility is one of two major after-sales sites dedicated to HGV repairs, servicing, MOTs, and refurbishments.

The new spray booth will significantly increase their capacity for paint spraying, allowing them to meet the growing demand for trailer refurbishments more effectively. With this upgrade, they are committed to delivering even higher standards of service and efficiency to their valued customers.

Key Features of the New Spray Booth

• Size and Structure: The booth measures 18.0m long, 5.0m wide, and 5.0m high, featuring double skin insulated panels with a white interior and exterior.
• Advanced Air Handling: Equipped with a direct gas-fired air handling plant and air recirculation on bake cycles for enhanced fuel economy. It includes two 11.0kW direct drive fans with inverter drives.
• Efficient Lighting: Daylight LED lighting with high-efficiency PCB boards ensures optimal visibility and energy savings.
• Temperature Control: The spray cycle operates at an adjustable 20°C, while the bake cycle can reach up to 80°C, accelerating the drying process.
• Sustainability: The booth's design promotes energy efficiency and faster turnaround times, aligning with Don-Bur’s commitment to sustainable practices.
